Valentine’s Day always fascinates me. It’s such an unusual day and complicated celebration for so many people. While I think it is wonderful to celebrate love, shouldn’t we be letting the people around us who we love know that they are loved everyday!
The cliched chocolates and roses are a commercial cop out in declarations of love if you ask me. I’ll take the toilet seat being put down, the wet towels put in the basket, the kiss on the forehead on the way out the door, the last biscuit in the pack left for me.
Love should be in the air everyday, tomorrow is never a given, so make sure the loves in your life know they are loved everyday.
